Recently, an invention patent applied by our company was granted, named “Green emitting phosphor for white LED with high color rendition”, numbered ZL 201410124100.5.
The invention relates to a green emitting phosphor for white LED with high color rendition. The chemical expression is (Y3-x-2/3-x-2/3y-zLaxMy)(Al5-a-bGaBb)O12-1/2cCI: Ce3+z, wherein M is one or two of Sr and Ba, x is smaller than or equal to 0.2 and greater than or equal to 0.01, y is smaller than or equal to 0.2 and greater than or equal to 0.05, z is smaller than or equal to 0.10 and greater than or equal to 0.01, a is smaller than or equal to 3 and greater than or equal to 0.2, b is equal to 4y, and b is smaller than or equal to 40c and greater than or equal to 16c. The preparation method of the green emitting phosphor comprises the following steps: weighing La2O3, Y2O3, Al2O3, Ga2O3, MB407, NH4Cl and CeO2 according to the chemical dosage; evenly mixing, and putting a mixture into a reducing atmosphere furnace to sinter at 1500-1550℃for 2-8 hours; finally carrying out ball milling, baking and sieving on the sintered product. The green emitting phosphor has good property and high phase-phase purity, it is very applicable to encapsulation of white LED which the color rendition index is greater than or equal to 85.
The preparation method of the invention is easy to operate , no pollutant produced in the production process , the raw material is easy to obtain and the cost is low , and the product performance is superior.
